I along with 17 high school children in fourth year at Williamwood High School (Glasgow,Scotland) are trying to raise money for a 3 week long expedition to Southern Tanzania in Africa during the Summer of 2011.

The standard of living and education there can be quite poor, especially in the South of Tanzania so during the expedition, we will be helping out local communities. For example, we might do a number of these things:

Providing a water supply to a primary school, repairing furniture, renovating and painting classrooms. 

The cost of this expedition of a lifetime is around £3,500 per person which all of the challengers must raise themselves.
